Glad They're Not Nocturnal
The woodpecker that used to beat on the back of my house has discovered the front. Eastern exposure there; I think it likes the shade. I hope he's not looking for termites....

Or carpenter bees.
I looked at the side of my house one day and realized that woodpeckers had opened up the bee tunnels... all of them. I had huge 1/2" deep trenches running for FEET down the side of my cedar planks!
