Ammo Day, CRS, and Hyperspace
Doh! A few weeks ago, I'd picked up a case of 12 gauge #6 in anticipation of this weekend's Combat Shotgun Classic and stuck it in the back of the Ranger's driver seat. Intending to take the Stang to PHX instead (since I don't need to haul a wagon), I went to take it out today and stuff my range box. Wedged between the case and the cargo door was my other knee-pad (I usually use only one) and the missing Nomex glove, which obviously never made it to the washing machine.Call me a victim of Can't Remember Sh*t.
Nov. 19 (Ammo Day) is also the CSC Match; I ought to through half of the 12 ga. case for the competition. Between that and the Superstition 3-Gun (and matches leading up to it), I ought to kill the whole case by summer. Picked up a case of 20 gauge #6 and a token box of pricey .30 Carbine (Walmart was out) for Ammo Day. The 20's should last me a few years, even if I take up bunny hunting again January. I'll probably compete with the Lady Defender a few times this summer for a change of pace.
Happiness is a full ammo box and an organized sock drawer.

Speaking of shotguns and ammo, Daisycat came home with a new Mossberg 20 ga. shotgun and several hundred shells yesterday.
Now I've got me a shotgun wieldin' mama!
Of *course* that means we're going to a range this weekend.
