Nosiree, Cowboy Blob, ersatz cowboy ordinaire, was not born in a sod cabin on the open range. The place of my birth has been in the news lately. Can you figure out where that is? This map should be a dead giveaway. Name the location and win a Blog Ad on my side bar for a month! In case of a tie, also include the news associated with the location.

BTW: It is not Mobile, Biloxi, Pensacola or Paris, France. My brother is worried:

Update: If you've got a guess, Google Map it first. If it doesn't come close, don't bother submitting it. Any further guesses from now on will be your last ones. Believe me, if I had backed out the Google browser a notch or two, this wouldn't have been much of a contest.
