I know this is an older post, and I've seen it a couple times now... But it reminds me of when I was that age and I wanted a .22 for Christmas. Knowing my odds, I toned it down a bit and asked for a BB gun. Begged, more like.
I got a heart locket.
Couldn't shoot squirrels with a locket, but it was then that I accepted my lot in life as a girl.
Have all the guns I want now. :)
