Spirit of America Challenge

This Christmas season is a time for giving. What better time to show the people of the world's two budding democracies (knock on wood) that we're rooting for them to drop the implements of war and pick up the tools of reconstruction. Your dollars to Spirit of America will energize these projects. Wouldn't you rather have the Iraqis producing their own news broadcasts than listening to Al-Jazzera?

Bloggers across the 'sphere are gathering into alliances to raise more money than their rival bloggers; you can donate directly to the cause, but doing it by way of a blogger team might just rev up donations from others, and that benefits the cause most.
