I was raised in a logging town on the coast in the Northwest. My friends from LA always commented on how safe it must be to drive to there compared to their highways. Try being in a 74 Civic stuck with one log truck on the right, and another passing you on the left going up a hill on the way into Astoria. I'll take the drive by shootings any day.
