Okay, lemme give it a try.
The watermelon is not wet; neither is the cat. This leads to two possible conclusions:
a) they've both been in that position long enough to be completely dry, or
b) neither has been in the water.
Since getting a cat to strike & hold a pose is unlikely, (although arguably not impossible), I'll go with b).
But what do I know? My course in Vulcan logic doesn't start until the fall.
