Very cool. I can do that- no problem. With pleasure actually.

About Damn time
That is one tradition that I feel so wrong not doing. Just standing there like most of the other schlubs with my hand/hat over my heart feels disrespectful after all the years of rendering a proper salute during the Anthem. I used to run into that dilemma daily when I was a contractor on the Reserve base at the Airport. They start and end the day with the National Anthem, not having a history of bugle calls in the Air Force ;)
If all the Vets started doing it maybe the moronic masses would realize just how many of us it took to keep America free.
I remember ducking to avoid saluting as a private and now I feel that I earned the honor to salute even as a bald fat vet in civies.

Good to hear that and thanks for sharing this. I will not salute the flag at every Packer or Brewers game my wife drags me to now.
