The
rifle stage was a three-position, 27-round-minimum stage that required more aiming and less hosing. Darn. The first bank of targets at 50 yards were hoseable, but the distant second bank rife with hostage targets and the third bank requiring head-shots-only required a lot of precision from the shooter. Jon's tactic was to "Use the Force" that served him well in previous competitions. I took extra time (and an extra shot per target) and still had seven misses...but only two no-shoot penalties to Jon's seven. It'll be interesting to see how other rifle shooters did.
I didn't bring a shotgun this trip, so
