Been toying with the macro feature on the Canon Digital a lot lately. It's just too much fun! Don't have many itty-bitty guns to photograph, but I did dig out my collection of lead fantasy miniatures. Not many of them stand up well to the critical spotlight, but this one is a favorite of mine.

I love the macro feature on my camera. We specifically chose ours for it. DH being a rockhound and all, you can see how it makes sense to have that feature :)

You don't need little itty bitty guns to have fun with the macro. Try getting detail shots of some of the guns you have. You can get closer and clearer photos of parts. Or of ammo. Or nipples. I'm just saying. (I'm a Boobiethon participant, mind you. I have to know these things)
