After I got back from Phoenix at the end of August, I decided to minimize my driving, not only to save money for my later-in-the-year roadtrip, but to avoid the rapidly escalating gas prices as a result of Hurricane Katrina. In my truck, I have six disks in the changer, full of MP3s (so I have hundreds of songs)...earlier this year, I drove to PA and only went through five of the disks. I've got a great variety of stuff to keep me amused, from North Korean marches to Rammstein to Doc Watson bluegrass to obscure 70s one-hit-wonders that have stuck with me over the years. So, I decide I might zip over to Safeway the first Friday night I'm back for some booze and munchies and what song pops out of the shuffled selection?
Tragically Hip's "
New Orleans is Sinking"
(beware annoying pop-ups)
I sh*t you not.

It's a safe bet that "Walking on Sunshine" won't pop up.

What makes you say so? It's in there somewhere.

North Korean marches? What, taped off the radio? Any good, or just loud?

Homebru, once upon a time, there was a thing called Napster. Imagine being stuck in your Korean apartment due to exercises and terror alerts, and all you've got to amuse yourself is a laptop with a DSL connection. There is only so much porn out there to download....
NK tunes are very martial and butch...I only have a couple, but they're better than Streisand.
