Please Contact Governor Napolitano Today!

Senate Bill 1302, introduced by State Senator Linda Gray (R-10), a much-needed fix to Arizona self-defense statutes, is on its way to Governor Janet Napolitano (D) for her signature.

SB 1302, a measure that specifies that the 2006 changes to the self-defense statutes, primarily which governs the justification of use of force, applies retroactively. SB 1302 also adds the presumption that a person is acting reasonably if defending oneself against another who unlawfully or forcefully entered the person's dwelling, residence of occupied vehicle, as well as extends the presumption to other self-defense statutes.

Attorney fees and compensation for lost income and expenses can also be awarded in a civil liability case if a court determines that the defendant is immune from prosecution.

Please contact the Governor today toll-free at (800) 253-0883 or email by visiting www.governor. state.az. us and ask that she sign this very important measure.

CB's Note: Our Governor's not bad, for a Democrat. Be polite.

Dayum. Means you can't stamp null and void to a BG's birth certificate unless he's all but on top of ya.

You can either damn her with faint praise or damn her altogether--it's all the same to me. At the end of the day, she's well less than what I would hope for in a governor.

I cannot forgive or forget that she vetoed concealed carry in restaurants and bars (SB1363).

It appears that she's vetoed SB1302.

Damn her any which way you like. Personally, I can't wait until she's not in office...any office.
