Try and Spin This, Moonbats!
-- Sen. Rick Santorum in press release from recently unclassified docs.
He says there are probably more. What's a little sarin and mustard gas, right?

Although it was patently obvious that Saddam had WMD (he'd used the stuff, fer crissakes), I'm trying to remaing somewhat cautious about this "new" revelation.
As I try to work through all the angles here I find myself wondering...just how potent these 500 shells were/are; why did we not declassify this information a year ago, and is there some agenda to having it declassified now; is there a domestic Iraqi agenda?
Mind you, not that this isn't good news--it is very much so. The looming question for a year after the invasion was "Where are the WMDs?". But I think the announcement now that we've found these WMDs brings up as many questions as it answers.

We know how much the CIA loves GWB!
If the 4th ID had advanced to Iraq through Syria rather than wait in vain for Turkey to let them offload, we would have found lots of Saddam's WMDs...in Syria.
