2006 Halloween 3-Gun

-- "Don't worry, the police will protect you! Just dial 911." Well, you've done that...the goblins are coming in, and I still don't see any cops around.

Pistol - Start Position: Lying prone or supine on carpet uprange of Box A, head, hands, and heels touching carpet/ground. Unloaded, trigger-locked pistol grounded on nightstand in Box A.

On start signal, unlock and load pistol and engage P1 through P4 and movers T1 through T4 once they've been activated. From Box B, engage P5 through P13. Paper targets require two hits to neutralize, all steel must fall.

Pistol/Shotgun - Start Position: Lying prone or supine on carpet uprange of Box A, head, hands, and heels touching carpet/ground. Unloaded, trigger-locked pistol grounded on nightstand in Box A. Shotgun with loaded magazine but locked cable-lock through open action grounded on Table B.

On start signal, unlock and load pistol and engage P1 through P4 and movers T1 through T4 once they've been activated. From Box B, ground safed/empty pistol; unlock shotgun and engage P5 through P13 with shotshells only and S1 through S3 with slugs only. Pistol paper targets require two hits to neutralize, slug targets one, all steel must fall.

--Wreck the Mad Scientist's Lab and escape! Shield yourself with the talisman or the zombies outside will eat your brains!

Pistol - Start position: Standing at Cone A facing uprange, fingers interlaced on top of head (must hold onto braaaaaains!) Loaded pistol in holster.

On start signal, advance to Table B and engage in any order P1 through P13. With talisman in off hand, proceed to Box C and engage T1 through T5 with strong hand only. Paper targets require two hits to neutralize, all steel must fall.

Pistol/Shotgun - Start position: Standing at Cone A facing uprange, fingers interlaced on top of head (must hold onto braaaaaains!) Loaded pistol in holster. Loaded shotgun grounded on table.

On start signal, advance to Table B and with shotgun or pistol engage in any order P1 through P13. Ground safed/empty shotgun on table. With talisman in off hand, proceed to Box C and with pistol engage T1 through T5 with strong hand only.

-- Bust into the ceremony of Unholy Matrimony, stake both Vampires, then kill the "guests!" Be careful you don't shoot the wedding presents...they're people!

Pistol - Start position: Normal ready in Box A, loaded pistol in holster. Two stakes carried on the shooter's person.

On start signal, in any order, engage T1 through T4 and P1 through P4. Advance to Table B and engage V1 and V2 with stake, then engage T5 through T8. Each paper target requires two hits to neutralize. All steel must fall.

Pistol/Rifle - Start postion: Normal ready in Box A, loaded pistol in holster. Two stakes carried on the shooter's person. Loaded rifle grounded on Table B.

On start signal, in any order, engage T1 through T4 and P1 through P4. Advance to Table B and engage V1 and V2 with stake, then engage T5 through T12 with rifle. Each paper target requires two hits to neutralize. All steel must fall.


-- Rescue the trick-or-treaters and the babysitter before they satisfy an undead sweettooth!

Pistol - Start position: Standing at Table A with both hands holding "bowl of candy." Holstered pistol.

On start signal, draw and engage T1 through T4 from Box A and T5 through T12 from behind Chargeline B. Each target requires two hits to neutralize.

Pistol/Rifle - Start position: Standing at Table A with both hands holding "bowl of candy." Holstered pistol. Loaded rifle on table, safety on.

On start signal, draw pistol and engage T1 through T4 from Box A. Ground empty/safed pistol and with rifle, engage T5 through T12 from A or behind Chargeline B. Each target requires two hits to neutralize.

    The regulars were plenty bummed this morning about no 3-gun at Pima Pistol Club this time.
