A whole decade since I hung up my uniform!
Think I ought to start looking for a job. Or not.
What do I miss? Friends. Being on a crew, whether leading one in Korea, or trying not to embarrass my Det as a Basic Aircrew Sr. NCO on the EC-130H. And the flight suit. Chicks dig guys in flight suits.
Hmmmm. EC-130H. I only know of a couple of bases that had them, one being Davis-Monthan. D-M also hosted the EC-130E ABCCC, where I spend a couple of wonderful years as Flight Engineer, till I got out of the AF in 1996
