It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

Sunday was the Cactus League Halloween 3-Gun Match and Match Director Terry Allison put out a great course of fire! As a side match, shooters could pay a buck for an orange paper plate to enter the Jack-o-Lantern Challenge Art Competition. This year's winner was Jon, who brought home a Home Depot Gift Card, thanks to his artistry with a Para-Ordnance P14-45.

Big Bob, last year's Art Contest winner, carved the Runner-up with his GLOCK 34. Both Jon and Bob shot the regular match with pistol-caliber carbines, but brought out their handguns out of good sportsmanship. It's interesting that out of a shooting league dominated by pistoleros, including several Master Class gurus in attendance, the precision work was won by guys who brought handguns as an afterthought.

Yours Truly got an Honorable Mention with my GLOCK 19. The contest rules called for a HAPPY Jack-o-Lantern

Gotta try that. What, 25 yards?

I'll use my newest toy, the KelTec PMR-30. For the kicks and giggles~!
