I'm So Proud!

Looks like BinkerDad's been doing some teaching!

When I'm home next, I wanna hear the Four Steps according to Eddie Eagle from the Binker....

and the Three Rules from the BinkerDad!

If memory serves correct the 3 rules should be: (in no particular order) never load the weapon until you're ready to fire, always keep your finger off of the trigger until you are ready to fire, and never point at anything unless you intend to detroy it.

    Am I right?

Well, um...that first one really makes no sense for either a carry piece or a home defense piece. That's why I don't much follow the NRA rules.

Jeff Cooper's four rules make more sense to me:
RULE I: ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

RULE II: NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY

RULE III: KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

RULE IV: BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET (and what's behind it).
