A Mass-Murder Primer

So, you've been wronged by your least favorite professor/political representative/girlfriend/boss?  They failed to recognize your genius/specialness/charm?  Those bastards!  I want to help you exact the revenge that will vindicate your miserable life!

You're on a one-way trip to message delivery; don't waste unnecessary money on name brand magazines for the weapons you've chosen for your mission.  Get the cheaper Korean knock-offs.  Magazines are a point of failure, so go with a few large ones, rather than the smaller 10-rounders you'll probably fumble away.

Spend the money you saved on ammo magazines on THE killing machine, a Saiga drum-fed shotgun fresh out of the box.  Don't bother feeding single shells into a clunky old farmer's tool like the Remington 870... who excels at mass murder like the Russians and Chinese?

Speaking of which, load up on quality but super-cheap ammo from Wolf and NORINCO.  I still have a stash of both I'm saving for my own spree... or the Zombie Apocalypse (whichever comes first).

Do not invest in ballistic armor... it might protect for a second, but it hurts like a mo-fo when hit.  Triple the doses of your prescription meds, instead.

And Don't, for heavens sake, go out to the range and practice shooting!  Recreational shooting is a known source of stress relief... you wouldn't want to mellow your great big knot of craziness, would you?

It's NOT a Heavy Weapon

"Using the kinds of guns Holmes allegedly fired requires training and practice, and law enforcement officials are now trying to figure out where and with whom."
-- Dan Harris, Good Morning America

Um... no.

Using the kinds of guns Holmes allegedly fired, anyone with training and practice would have left a lot more than 12 dead in that packed theater.  We can thank God, Providence, the FSM, and Pure Luck that the nutjob was not an expert; I'm betting he was barely proficient with his weapons and just sprayed the crowd.

Perhaps if he had spent more time at the range getting stress-relieving Recoil Therapy (i.e., Fun), none of this would have happened.

New Buzz Word!  Bill O'Reilly has been railing about the need for reporting sales of "heavy weapons."  The nutjob didn't use any Heavy Weapons!  He didn't use anything that can't be found in a police patrol car.

Old Buzz Word!  The Smith & Wesson M&P rifle is NOT a "high-powered rifle," you so-called journalists.  The .223 cartridge it fires is too light to harvest deer legally in most states.  Nor is it a "machine gun."  I think I'll leave the TV off.

┬┐Crees Que Vale la Pena?

Nine Buddhas Productions uploaded our entry into the IFP 48-Hour Challenge with minutes to spare.

We have high hopes for this short about a woman wronged (actress Grisel Wilson, pictured).

I learned a lot about the manual settings on the Canon on this one!

Punisher Fan Flick

Nice indie short.  Effects over the top (Jack Daniels does NOT = Napalm).

Yes, Grijalva is a Hyena

Looks like the Tucson Sentinel is in the bag for Raul (D-Boycott AZ) Grijalva. They drew him perfectly... except hyenas don't always hunt for themselves, often snacking on leftovers from their betters... even their poop.

Unlike.

Flash Mob? Or Slow-to-Assemble?

Classical Music flash mobs always touch me right there, especially if it's a tune I know and love. Like this one. h/t to Rick F.

Teaser Poster

Back from vacation!  It's time to make some more movies!  Shot most of Katie Cordova's "Sweet Dreams" last night.  SD is a horror short slated to vie for entry in the Tucson Terrorfest this Halloween.

Next weekend, it's the Nine Buddhas crew crafting something for the 48-Hour Challenge.

In my spare time, I really should finish my own short, advertised at right.  Yes, it stars my niece, the Binker, as well as The Binker-Dad and the Blob-Mom.  This movie is a test bed for technologies I'll employ in "Men of War 2.0" later this year.

Chippy's Independence Day

Day after day, I watch the chippy* slaving away for the Man... or rather some Bitch Chippy back at the hole with a rolling pin and a wagging finger. Always hauling peanuts for storage, never enjoying one. Today, with the Flag of the United States of America proudly flying on Independence Day, the chippy cracked open a few cold ones and enjoyed the sweet taste of Freedom on this most awesome of Holidays.

* I'm beginning to think this is really the Beta chippy due to his/her propensity to carry only one peanut at a time.
